Figma is a simplified alternative to Adobe Photoshop. It includes all the tools designers need to edit vector elements, particularly SVG, eliminating the need to open multiple large programs simultaneously.
A major advantage of Figma is its team collaboration capabilities. Multiple people can work on a project simultaneously. Users can also create designs in PNG format at two or three times the working size, without losing quality. Text and backgrounds remain vector-based by default.
By enrolling in the course, users will learn to create website prototypes/templates, work with core tools, add/export files in PNG, JPG, or SVG formats, and use the Layout Grid, a handy tool for creating grids. This grid ensures design elements are evenly distributed and offers customizable transparency and color options. Similar functionality is available in Photoshop.
